most recent area in British Columbia to produce wines. Located on the
southern tip of Vancouver Island we attest to having the warmest year
round wine growing region in Canada. After years of experimentation local
vintners have discovered the best varietals suited to our climate &

Leslie Goodall, is the owner of Vancouver Island Wine Tours. A sunny afternoon spent at a local "Feast of Fields" Food & Wine event reassured her that her decision to move back to the island was definitely the right choice. During a fifteen year stint in Whistler working in the restaurant business, as British Columbia wines made a splash on the world stage, her interest in our wines was piqued. The summer of 2000 was spent as a wine interpreter during the opening season of the new Mission Hill Winery facility.
